Transparency, Not Apologetics

Source Explorer

The Urantia Book tells you it used human sources. Here they are, and here is what the revelators did with them.

This is not an attack. This is the process working exactly as described.

The Mandate

The revelators did not hide their method. They declared it.

โ€œIn formulating the succeeding presentations... we have selected as the basis of these papers more than one thousand human concepts representing the highest and most advanced planetary knowledge of spiritual values and universe meanings.โ€

Divine Counselor(0:12.12)

โ€œAs far as possible I have derived my information from purely human sources. Only when such sources failed, have I resorted to those records which are superhuman.โ€

Midwayer Commission(121:8.12)

โ€œI have unhesitatingly appropriated those ideas and concepts, preferably human, which would enable me to create the most effective portraiture of Jesus' life.โ€

Midwayer Commission(121:8.14)

About This Tool

The Urantia Book explicitly acknowledges that its authors were instructed to use the best existing human thought as a foundation. This was not deception; it was policy. The revelators were tasked with expressing truth through the highest available human language and concepts.

This tool maps identified human sources to their corresponding UB passages and shows what the revelators did with the material: correcting errors, expanding frameworks, adopting what was already adequate, or reframing facts within a revelatory context.

We draw on the research of Frederick Beckner, Saskia Praamsma, and the UB Archive community. We do not present source identification as evidence of fraud. We present it as evidence that the process worked exactly as described.
