Tree of Life

The Tree of Life was a real shrub from Edentia that was transplanted to Urantia and maintained at the center of the Garden of Eden. It provided the complement of the life-maintenance currents of the universe that sustained the corporeal staff of the Planetary Prince and later Adam and Eve. The fruit of the tree, combined with the complemental ministry of certain universe life circuits, renewed physical existence indefinitely. After the Adamic Default, the Tree of Life was guarded by Van and his associates. It eventually ceased to function and withered when Adam and Eve were reduced to mortal status.

Sea of Glass
Celestial Architecture

Sea of Glass

The Sea of Glass is the vast receiving field on Jerusem, the headquarters of the local system of Satania. It is made of crystal glass and serves as the arrival and departure point for transport seraphim carrying ascending mortals and other celestial travelers. The Sea of Glass permits the visualization of many activities that would otherwise be invisible to mortal-type beings. It functions as a giant broadcasting station for interplanetary communications and serves as the reflectivity focus for the system.

The Urantia Papers

The Urantia Papers, also known as The Urantia Book, constitute the fifth epochal revelation to the world of Urantia. They were authored by a vast team of celestial beings under the direction of a Melchizedek revelatory commission and presented in the first half of the twentieth century. The 196 papers are organized in four parts: the Central and Superuniverses, the Local Universe, the History of Urantia, and the Life and Teachings of Jesus. The papers were specifically designed to expand cosmic consciousness and enhance spiritual perception.

Fandors (Giant Passenger Birds)
Creatures

Fandors (Giant Passenger Birds)

Fandors were enormous intelligent passenger birds domesticated by the corporeal staff at Dalamatia under Bon's Council of Animal Domestication. They could carry one or two people up to 500 miles in a single day and were intelligent enough to speak some words. Their plumage was iridescent and colorful โ€” resembling a giant condor with parrot-like coloring. Fandors served as the primary long-distance transportation system for hundreds of thousands of years. Adam and Eve rode fandors. Amadon bonded with a wild fandor during the rebellion. They are remembered in world mythology as the Anzu bird (Sumerian), Garuda (Hindu), Thunderbird (Indigenous American), and Roc (Arabian). Fandors went extinct approximately 30,000 years ago, about 8,000 years after the events of the Dalamatia game timeline.

Three Concentric Circles
Sacred Objects

Three Concentric Circles

The emblem of three concentric circles is the material symbol of the Paradise Trinity and the banner of Machiventa Melchizedek's administration. Machiventa wore this symbol on his breast during his 94-year incarnation at Salem. The three circles became sacred across multiple cultures โ€” they appear in archaeological sites from Ireland to India. Gabriel carried a banner of three azure blue concentric circles on white during the Lucifer Rebellion adjudication. The symbol represents the three persons of the Trinity: the Universal Father, the Eternal Son, and the Infinite Spirit. It was later adopted by the Urantia movement as its primary identifier.

The Father's Prayer

The Father's Prayer was the first revealed prayer taught on Urantia by Hap's Council of Religion in Dalamatia. It predates the Lord's Prayer by nearly 500,000 years. The prayer represents humanity's earliest formal acknowledgment of the Universal Father โ€” taught by the superhuman corporeal staff to their mortal students. In the DALAMATIA game and D&D campaign, the Father's Prayer functions as a game mechanic: speaking it provides a morale buff and resistance against Caligastia's invisible psychic influence.

Lucifer's Manifesto (Declaration of Liberty)

The Declaration of Liberty was Lucifer's formal proclamation of rebellion against the universe government of Michael of Nebadon. Published from Jerusem, it charged that the Universal Father did not really exist, that local universe rulers used him as a puppet to maintain power, and that the ascension plan was a grand fraud. The manifesto had three main pillars: the reality of the Father was a fraud invented by the Paradise Sons, the government of the Creator Son was unjust, and the plan of ascending mortals was an impractical fantasy. This document triggered the rebellion on 37 inhabited worlds and remains the most destructive act of deception in Satania's history.

The 25-Character Alphabet

Fad, the head of the Planetary Prince's Council on Knowledge and Dissemination, introduced a 25-character alphabet to the peoples of Dalamatia approximately 500,000 years ago. This was the first writing system on Urantia and the foundation of all subsequent human literacy. Fad's council promoted reading, writing, and the spread of information as the keys to cultural advancement. The alphabet was used alongside a system of written numerals. Though this original system was lost after the rebellion, it initiated the long development that eventually led to the Phoenician and all modern alphabets.
