Father Melchizedek

The Father Melchizedek is the original and unique being of his order, the personality offspring of a creative union between the Creator Son and the Creative Spirit, who then collaborated with them to bring into existence the entire group of Melchizedeks (35:1.1). In the universe of Nebadon he serves as the first executive associate of the Bright and Morning Star, attending to practical procedures and the special, extraordinary, and emergency commissions, and he functions as chief executive of Nebadon whenever Gabriel is away from Salvington (35:1.2). Because one of their own number functioned as a coordinate creator, the Melchizedeks are partly of self-origin and govern themselves, electing their administrative chief every seven years while the Father Melchizedek retains certain inherent coparental prerogatives (35:1.3).
