Fad

Fad presided over the faculty on the dissemination and conservation of knowledge, directing the educational endeavors of those early ages through supervision of employment paired with instruction in improved methods of labor (66:5.9). He formulated the first alphabet, of twenty-five characters, and introduced a writing system, and the great Dalamatia library of more than two million records was known as the house of Fad (66:5.9). When the rebellion came, Fad and five members of the educational faculty remained loyal and were among the forty staff members later transferred to Jerusem (67:4.1).
