Electron Diameter

"If the mass of matter should be magnified until that of an electron equaled one tenth of an ounce, then were size to be proportionately magnified, the volume of such an electron would become as large as that of the earth."
Modern Science
This is a magnification analogy, not a stated measurement. Modern physics treats the electron as a point particle with no measured diameter, so the comparison can be neither confirmed nor refuted.

Radium Alpha Particle Velocity

"The positive particles of radium fly off into space at the rate of ten thousand miles a second."
Modern Science
The measured velocity of alpha particles from radium is roughly 9,500 miles a second. The UB figure of 10,000 is within about 5 percent of the modern value.

Stars in the Master Universe

"In the master universe there are as many suns as there are glasses of water in the oceans of your world." A vivid analogy for a staggering number.
Modern Science
This is poetic imagery rather than a measurement, and the master universe is not the same as the observable universe. As a rough sense of scale it is the right order of magnitude, but it should not be read as a quantitative prediction.

Sun Energy Output

"The total heat now given out by the solar system sun each second is sufficient to boil all the water in all the oceans on Urantia in just one second of time."
Modern Science
Solar luminosity is 3.8 x 10²⁶ W. The energy to boil Earth's oceans (~1.4 x 10²⁷ J) works out to roughly 1.5 seconds, the right order of magnitude for the claim of one second.

Andromeda Distance

The UB gives Andromeda's distance as approximately one million light-years (15:4.7).
Modern Science
Modern measurement: 2.537 million light-years. The UB used the 1934 consensus figure, which has since been corrected.

Proton Size Comparison

"If the volume of a proton should be magnified to the size of the head of a pin, then, in comparison, a pin's head would attain a diameter equal to that of the earth's orbit around the sun."
Modern Science
Another magnification analogy. Using the modern proton charge radius (~0.87 fm) the comparison lands in the right general range, but the figures are illustrative rather than an exact match.
